Congrats To Nikki!!

This is just a really short blog to congratulate my roomie!!!! Nikki just got her BCBA Certification in the mail today!! She worked extremely hard to accomplish this and I am so proud of her!! Way to go girl!!!

I have totally decided that I have the best guy friends ever.  Yes, I have had to replace most of my guy friends within the past couple of months, but with guys it is not that hard.  Be honest, avoid drama and respect their women.  That is all it takes! Guys are so much easier than chicks.  I would take 50 guy friends and their issues over 1 chick friend and her drama.  And it is so much fun to people watch with guys!  I actually had an intelligent conversation with my new friend Rob last night regarding the english language and the common lack of the average person to communicat with it appropriately.  We listened in on a conversation that held more "like", "blah-blah-blah", and "ya know" in it then actual full sentances.  The funny part....it was JIMMY!!!! hahahahahaha!! Love you Jimmy!  I know it is hard to talk to a new girl that you are into.  :x

I had a great time with some good new friends.  Hopefully we will continue to kick it even after Tommy leaves us to live in Lousiana....freak.

Memorial Service

I know it has been a long time since I have updated this thing again....I know I am a slacker.

So I will start with the memorial service for my boy's dad.  It was really nice. There was an honor guard presentation of the flag to Tommy's mother and they played TAPS.  I held it together and didn't cry until they played it.  Then I bawled like a baby.

Rachel and I put together a slide show for  the family.  It took us about 13 hours and it turned out good.  I wish we had been able to work on it for a few more hours so we could have made it incredible, but it was nice.  His mom really appreciated it and I am pretty sure taht he liked it as well.  I am going to try to find a way to attach it to this blog entry.

Anyway- after the memorial I went with Tommy to his brothers house to hang out with his cousins and friends.  It was good times and I took quite a few pictures of the family.  So here they are!

I had a really good time getting to know Tommy's family and his brother's friends.... It was a good night even though the reasons for the gathering were not happy times.
